For the vast majority of the jobs we do, these charges will not apply. However there are circumstances, where all these little extra tasks add up to significant extra work, and then we have to cover these costs.
If we are notified in advance, we will provide all the information we can to make what extra we will charge clear. However if we are notified when we arrive or late or on the day (ie after 6pm the night before), these charges may be applied without notice as extra charges.
We have no desire to over charge, so if the additional charges below are less than 20 units, we will waive them but, they will apply in full if they are 20 units or more..
Carrying Boxes
At least 2 Units per box
For each box we move from a storage location (ie garage, shed, ony other storage area), we will charge 2 units per box (up to 100yds and one flight of stairs or lift to the appropriate floor) + 2 units per extra flight of stairs (4 or more steps). If two people are required to lift a box this will be doubled.
Secure Storage

Collecting items from a secure storage location where we need to unlock/lock it unsupervised, we charge 10 units.

Jo says ”
The fitter was on time, polite and courteous. He got straight on with the assembly of my wardrobe after we discussed the positioning of it. I was amazed at how quickly he assembled it all, and left all the packaging in a neat and tody pile, meaning it was easy for me to dispose of. Would absolutely use the service again, and think it is great value for money.“

Phil says ”
The morning appointment was cancelled late notice (50 minutes into the expected time of arrival) but an alternative time later the same day was arranged.
The assembly was completed to a good standard and the customer service was very good.
Whilst quite expensive I would recommend as building such a large piece of furniture single handedly without the best tools is a major undertaking!“
