As noted elsewhere, there are three types. One set comes in one peice another in two peices (Havsik) which just need connecting together (10 mins). The third and most popular are the panelled doors such as the Auli ones, with 3 panels (201cm frame height) and 4 panels (236cm frame height). These take an hour to assemble per pair.
At least 2cm ceiling clearance is required, however since floor and ceilings are rarely flat, be on the safe side and measure in several places.
The only way of doing this is to put 2 x sliding door systems side by side. This does not always work well if space is tight. Do not assume that you can fit 2 x 150cm wide wardrobes into a 300cm space. There are lining peices with add 1-2mm to each end and therefore you will need 301cm of space. You will also need to measure in several points.
This will cushion the doors when they close. In practice the momentum form sliding the door closed is shifted onto the frame when this device is in use and often it can mean you have to attach the wardrobes to the wall. If you do not have the device it does not have the same effect. This is worth noting if yuo are reluctant or cannot have your wardrobes attached to the wall (ie you rent).
In some systems Ikea show the intenral LED lighting at the top of the wardrobe. This can be done, but if you buy the softclose device, it has to be positioned further back and the light sensitive switch will not always work. It is often better to suspend it from a shelf instead.
These are made of fabric and sit neatly in shelf spaces, often shown on the website and in catalogues on the top shelf. This is not so neat on the sliding door wardrobes as the rail hangs down and the shelve will need to be 2 holes lower than on a hinged door system. Furthermore if you have purchased the soft close device this hangs lower still in the corners meaning the sehlf must be another 2 holes lover. Overall you could lose 3-4 holes and this might impact heavily on your hanging space if not considered.

I would recommend Flat Pack Amigos to anyone who is considering booking their services. We ordered wardrobes from Ikea which needed assembling, the fitter turned up on time and completed the installation quickly to a very high standard. the booking process was easy and they came on time on my preferred day. I will be booking them again when needed. “

My assembler arrived on time and was professional in his service. He ensured a prompt and courteous approach throughout. No problem was too much for him it seemed. Working alone, he ensured the speediest assembly possible and took care throughout. Finally, he was conscious of the waste packaging and eft his area tidy. Would recommend to others :-)“

The fitter was very efficient and he had quite a lot of assembling to do.
He just got stuck into it . He had to do a wardrobe, chest of drawers,
Two side tables and a TV stand. He did it all so perfectly in around 3 hours.
He was very organised and tidy.
I will definitely be using again.“
